The notice of appeal required by Rule 3 of the Rules of Appellate Procedure shall be given within 30 days after entry of the judgment or order. If the notice of appeal is given by a party, it must be filed with the clerk of the trial division of the General Court of Justice.

Upon timely filing of notice of appeal, the time for appeal is tolled as to all parties until the appeal is determined or abandoned.

A party who wishes to appeal from a judgment or order of the trial division must file a notice of appeal with the clerk of superior court within 30 days after entry of the judgment or order.
